The Agents for Citizen-driven Transformation (ACT) Programme developed this toolkit to support CSO partners in Nigeria to implement their activities in a safe and protective environment where harm, exploitation and abuse are prevented as far as is reasonably possible, and the CSOs can respond effectively.
The toolkit provides guidelines to develop a policy document that outlines procedures of best practice in safeguarding children and vulnerable adults. This is not definitive, but a guide only. There are many other examples available online.
